Mobile innovators for social change, Nokia to convene for MobileActive07

NGO practitioners from around the world will convene November 24 and 25 in Sao Paulo, Brazil for MobileActive07 at Mobilefest, the global gathering of mobile innovators who are making the world a better place. Nokia representatives from its Brazlian research lab INdT will present and participate in trainings and skillshares as part of MobileActive07.

Particpants hail from around the world, including environmental advocates from Brazil and Argentina, human rights workers from Zimbabwe, citizen media advocates from the Ukraine, ICT for development organizers from South Africa and Bangladesh, and many others using mobile phones in their civil society work.

We will liveblog the event and shoot mobile video with particpants that will be posted here. We will also make proceedings available on our wiki during the event. Please stay tuned!
